WebbThe upstairs thermostat (ecobee3) stops the cooling cycle whenever it hits 72 degrees. doesn't matter if the downstairs thermostat is on or off. i have home/away setting turned off. It also doesn't matter if it's day or night, or what hte outside temp is. it will always stop when it's 72 degrees. WebbJust because you set the thermostat for a temp doesnt mean it will get to that temp.
